The brief
Croda, a brand-new client, asked us to deliver its half-year results in two parts. First, a pre-recorded video presentation that would be ready for investors and analysts on the morning of the announcement. Second, a live Q&A session with the CEO and CFO for financial analysts. Both would be delivered through our bespoke branded registration and streaming platform. The timings were tight: the presentation would be filmed the day before and the edit turned around within hours for sign-off and upload.
A platform built for investors
Our web team built a branded registration and viewing platform where the audience could pre-register and receive a unique viewing link by branded email, with a reminder sent 24 hours before the event.
Filmed and edited on site
After a site visit, our content team filmed the presentation at Croda's East Yorkshire offices with a multi-camera shoot, professional audio and autocue. Editors worked on site, adding lower-thirds, slide content and custom transitions, so the presentation was signed off the same day. A simple, elegant set was created in the client's offices with a slatted wood panel backdrop, artificial plants and LED uplighters.
Synced slides for easy viewing
Once approved, the presentation was published to the platform. Our slide-sync system time-coded the PowerPoint slides to appear in step with the video, so viewers had a better experience and could navigate the content quickly.
Live analyst Q&A
Our digital team set up the live Q&A webcast in Yorkshire and streamed it to two places at once: our web platform and Zoom, where selected financial analysts joined to put questions to the management team. Text questions submitted on the platform appeared in real time on an iPad at the board table.
After the event
A quick edit of the Q&A and a full transcript were uploaded to the platform, and Croda's IR team had access to detailed viewing analytics.
