From town halls to a digital channel
We were first brought in to produce AV for Aston Martin's town halls, streamed across two locations. Working with the internal communications team, we quickly saw a bigger opportunity. With a workforce that had very little spare time, Aston Martin needed a streamlined, high-impact way to communicate.
The brief: "go digital"
Given a simple brief to "go digital", we looked for a solution that played to our strengths and stayed cost-effective. The result was AM:TV, a custom, iPlayer-style microsite for branded video content, built and managed in-house.
Analytics that show what works
Unlike off-the-shelf video platforms, AM:TV gives the internal comms team detailed insight. As well as views and watch duration, it shows which sections of each video people engage with most, and captures real-time reactions through emojis. All of this sits in a secure, easy-to-use environment. Keeping production and analytics in-house delivered a high-quality, scalable solution on a limited budget.
Content that keeps coming
Since AM:TV launched, our video team has produced a steady flow of content, from "special episodes" to quick-turnaround vox pops and post-event highlights. Aston Martin now has a dynamic digital channel that engages its workforce, captures meaningful feedback and informs its communications strategy.
