Remote presenters and remote production, so speakers can join from anywhere

Your CEO is abroad, a keynote speaker is in New York, or the whole event is being run from the office. We bring remote contributors into a live programme so smoothly that the audience can’t tell who’s in the room.

Key features

Speakers from anywhere

Live links from homes, offices, hotels or trackside, cut into the programme like a studio guest.

Remote presenter kits

Camera, lighting, microphone and connectivity sent out and set up for professional picture and sound.

Virtual green room

A stream producer talks to every remote contributor before and during the live show.

Live field links

LiveU and bonded cellular units for live contributions from outdoor and mobile locations.

Broadcast from your office

Turn a boardroom or meeting room into a smart broadcast set for the day.

Rehearsed and resilient

Tech checks, rehearsals and backup connections for every remote feed.

Making remote feel like the room

When Severn Trent needed to deliver a high-stakes investor and analyst update after Ofwat's draft determination, the CEO was out of the country. The brief was to make it look as though the whole executive panel was in the same place. The main broadcast came from Severn Trent's Coventry headquarters using multiple PTZ cameras and vMix. Meanwhile a dedicated team travelled to France to set up and support the CEO's live contribution. It was carefully rehearsed with backup connectivity, and to stakeholders it looked like one seamless broadcast.

Live links from wherever the story is

For a Formula One™ team's virtual hospitality event we built a broadcast set at the team's Silverstone headquarters. It took live feeds from drivers' homes, the factory race bay and trackside during the 70th Anniversary race weekend. A remote-controlled LiveU field kit let a race team member go live from trackside within the circuit's Covid-19 access rules, in direct contact with our control room.

Broadcast professionally from the office or home

Not every event needs a venue. We can turn your boardroom, atrium or a quiet meeting room into a smart broadcast set for the day, with professional cameras, lighting, sound and branding. We can also send remote presenter kits to contributors working from home. Either way, presenters stay in familiar surroundings and the audience sees a professional production on your own platform or channels.

Managed end to end

Every remote contributor gets a technical check in advance, a rehearsal slot and a direct line to the stream producer through a virtual green room. We monitor their connection throughout. If it weakens, we know before it affects the programme, and there's a backup ready.

Stream quality depends on the upload speed and stability of the connection. As a guide, we recommend at least 10 Mbps of steady, dedicated upload for a 1080p HD stream, and more for 4K or several streams at once. Venue Wi-Fi is rarely suitable, so we test the venue’s wired line beforehand and always add a bonded 4G/5G backup. Where there’s no suitable connection, we can arrange a temporary leased line or satellite link.

Yes. We regularly produce events on Zoom, Teams and other webinar platforms, feeding in a properly mixed programme with cameras, sound, graphics, slides and video, and managing every speaker through a green room.

Yes. We bring remote presenters in through a managed virtual green room with tech checks and rehearsals, and can send professional camera, lighting and audio kits to their home or office. To the audience, they look and sound like part of the main programme.
